Beginners' Genealogical Research

Have you ever wondered how and when your ancestors came to this country? Where did they live, and what did they do for a living? Judith R. Frazin, an experienced researcher and lecturer, explained how to get started, how to interview relatives, how to use your public library as a valuable resource, how to use internet and document resources and how to conduct your research in a logical step-by-step manner. European research resources will be discussed briefly. An extensive handout will be provided.

Judy Frazin's JGSI beginners' workshop will be presented from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at North Suburban Synagogue Beth El at 1175 Sheridan Rd., Highland Park.
